Re-referencing affects the levels，but not the rates of change，of the chain volume measures. ⑦According to international recommendations and in line with the practices of other economies，GNP in Hong Kong has been renamed as GNI and the term“external primary income flows”has replaced the former term“external factor income flows”since September 2012. ⑧Figures have been revised to take into account the Balance of Payments revision exercise completed in September 2012. ⑨Position as at end of period. ⑩Net international investment position is the difference between total external financial assets and total external financial liabilities. （11）Figures include all quarters used for residential purpose as well as those non-residential quarters usually with people living therein. Quarters known to be used for non-residential purpose and those in hotels and institutions are excluded. （12）Public rental housing flats sold by the Housing Authority are classified as subsidised sale flats. （13）Subsidised sale flats include quarters sold by the Housing Authority and Hong Kong Housing Society that cannot be traded in the open market.Those flats that can be traded in the open market are classified as private permanent housing. （14）Figures are for the corresponding financial year.For example，figures for 2012 represent those for financial year 2012/13. （15）Figures for 2012 are subject to audit by the Director of Audit. （16）Figures are adjusted to include foreign currency swap deposits. （17）Figures are adjusted to exclude foreign currency swap deposits.Hong Kong dollar is the legal tender in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region，as stated in"The Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China". 香港国际收支平衡表

Hong Kong's Balance of Payments Account

单位：亿港元（HKD 100 million）注：数字已就2012年9月完成的国际收支平衡统计修订工作作出修订。 ①根据国际收支平衡表的会计常规，某标准组成部分的净贷方数字以正数显示，而净借方则以负数显示。 ②经常账户差额的正数值显示盈余而负数值则显示赤字。在资本及金融账户方面，正数值显示资金净流入而负数值则显示资金净流出。由于对外资产的增加是属于借方记账而减少则属贷方记账，因此负数值的储备资产显示储备资产的增加，而正数值则显示减少。 ③在国际收支平衡架构下储备及非储备资产的估计数字是指交易数字。因估值方式改变（包括价格变动及汇率变动）及重新分类所导致的影响并没计算在内。 ④原则上，贷方和借方各项记账的净总和等于零。实际上，由于有关数据是从多个来源搜集得来，贷方和借方记账之间可能由于各种原因而出现差异。为令贷方记账的总和与借方记账的总和相等，须加进一个反映净误差及遗漏的平衡项目。 Notes：Figures have been revised to take into account the Balance of Payments revision exercise completed in September 2012. ①In accordance with the Balance of Payments accounting rules，a net credit for a standard component is represented by a positive value，and a net debit a negative value. ②A positive value for the balance figure in the current account represents a surplus whereas a negative value represents a deficit.In the capital and financial account，a positive value indicates a net financial inflow while a negative value indicates a net outflow.As increases in external assets are debit entries and decreases are credit entries，a negative value for the reserve assets represents a net increase while a positive value represents net decrease. ③The estimates of reserve and non-reserve assets under the Balance of Payments framework are transaction figures.Effects of valuation changes（including price changes and exchange rate changes）and reclassifications are not taken into account. ④In principle，the net sum of credit entries and debit entries is zero.In practice，discrepancies between the credit and debit entries may occur for various reasons as the relevant data are collected from many sources.Equality between the sum of credit entries and that of debit entries is rought about by the inclusion of a balancing item which reflects net errors and omissions.

注：数字是指该年年底的数字。 ①有限制注册中医可在指定的教育或科研机构进行中医药学方面的临床教学和研究工作。有限制注册中医的注册有效期不超过一年，他们并且不可作私人执业。 ②表列中医可在中医注册过渡性安排下在香港合法地执业，直至食物及卫生局局长日后在宪报上公布的日期为止。表列中医在过渡性安排期间，可分别循直接注册，通过注册审核或通过执业资格试成为“注册中医”。 ③包括医院管理局辖下医院、私家医院、护养院及惩教机构的医院。 Notes：Figures are as at end of the year stated. ①CMPs with limited registration are allowed to perform clinical teaching and research in Chinese medicine in the specified educational and scientific research institutions.The registration period of CMPs with limited registration should not exceed one year and they cannot engage in private practice with patients. ②Listed CMPs can practise lawfully in Hong Kong under the transitional arrangements for registration of CMPs until a date to be announced by the Secretary for Food and Health in the Gazette.Listed CMPs may become registered CMPs through direct registration，registration assessment or licensing examination during the transitional arrangements. ③Including Hospital Authority hospitals，private hospitals，nursing homes and hospitals in correctional institutions.
